A pestilent flea has infected you
Demons and bird-men circle your head
As you cry out for water from your death-bed
A merchant walks about the town
Spreading mucous all around
Inadvertently radiating the disease to civilians
Gone are the lilting icons of biblical and noble figures
Artists portray death and hell personified
A broken world we see today
Families lament the bodies of loved ones
Although in disgust of it they will soon shun
A classless, orderless people trek the world
Living in the moment, "We'll die anyway!"
Raucous laughter and drunkenness echo through the halls
And riots

Sifting arid gravel through my fingers
It's all a facade
All built, constructed, conquered by man
Trying to create his own paradise
Out of a desolate wasteland
The entirety of the place is artificial
Lavish vegetation adorns the streets
This is not as nature intended
Diminishing the quality of the rivers
Draining, taking its lifeblood away
To fuel a city created for the basis of sin
Sex, drugs, gambling, corruption
